Theatre and Dance

Physioworks enjoys a good reputation within the performance world.

Our physiotherapists are involved in treating all aspects of performance related problems from our contracts with London Studio Centre - a major dance and performance school to West End Shows and The Royal National Theatre. We can provide treatment at either our West End clinic, or on-site at theatres if preferred, and always ensure that appointments are available at short notice for emergencies.

We have dance company associations and Warrick McNeill is on the Physiotherapy advisory group to Dance UK and regularly lectures for them. Most recently he has presented at the Dance UK conference at the Royal Opera House in October 2000. The presentation involved showing a section of a forthcoming education video on injury prevention for the Young Dancer.

Audition assessments, advising on injury pattern analysis related to choreography, or blocking of show are part of our wide range of services. Equities directives on 'Working on a rake' are easily fulfilled by Physioworks on-site education workshops.
